Calisra Biotech, LLC is a U.S.-based development firm that creates, funds, and builds life-science companies that commercialize scientific discoveries and novel technologies from leading academic and biomedical research centers in California and Israel.

Calisra Biotech focuses on novel drug discovery and development, drug repositioning, pharmaceutical technologies, and personalized medicine. We form and build companies that are based on peer-reviewed, academic and clinical science and patentable intellectual property.

Calisra Biotech's co-founders are biotech executives, start-up entrepreneurs, and seed-stage investors who have extensive U.S., Israel, and international experience. Calisra Biotech provides the executive management expertise, operational and R&D experience, corporate partnering ability, and fundraising track record that life-science start-ups—especially those emerging from an academic environment—often lack.

With offices in Los Angeles and Palo Alto, California, Calisra Biotech has access to a wide range of financial, R&D, and management resources in the life sciences, and to an extensive network of academic, industry, and business contacts and relationships throughout the U.S., in Israel, and internationally.
